How we strive to continuously achieve our values

We Are General Lighting

General Lighting was established by Tom Mills in 1985 and in 2001 Nicholas & Mary Moran acquired the company.

We believe in the “Creativity of Lighting Concepts”, Light is not just about technology, it is our whole environment, it is our inner child wanting to explore light in its raw and natural form, creating unusual and unique lighting designs, it is also the sensible adult providing the technical functional lighting layouts, which aids in productivity & activity and importantly conforms to required standards.

We provide lighting design solutions for a wide variety of projects in the commercial sector using the latest technology. General Lighting work with some of the best and most innovative lighting products from Europe’s leading manufacturers in architectural design.

We have worked with Irelands elite Electrical Engineering and Architectural Companies to create lighting solutions that fit our client’s specification and more importantly expectations.

We have continued to grow and build our reputation based on our knowledge and expertise working to a high quality level of service. The experience and skills of our dedicated team ensure that a functional lighting design solution is the end result for all our clients’ needs and requirements. We consider no job too small or too big and we are at all times supported by our partner brands.

We have built strong relationships with our partners who support us in bringing the latest technology and design solutions to our clients. We believe and our partners believe that “Quality and customer orientation are the leading principles and a path of lasting relationships should be pursued with customers, business partners and employees.”
